Chris, thanks for letting us know! I'm going to post an update for my regular readers, in case they don't see this one. I saw your lunch menu at the Chamber of Commerce the other day. Looks like a great selection!

In September, we are opening for Lunch at 11 am daily, but closed on Mondays. Try our express lunch which is a combination of buffet / cafeteria style. Fast and cheap!

Hi, Linda! I just spoke with Chris Kerbow, the owner of Catfish Parlour, and he said they don't use coupons. They really try to keep the prices reasonable. In fact, he said that they've had the same prices for four years. (The Georgetown restaurant hasn't been open that long yet, but we have the same menu as their Austin locations.)

In addition, they do have a couple of special deals that you might find interesting: On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the all-you-can-eat catfish dinner costs $2 less than the rest of the week (just $10.95). And, for those of you who are in the senior bracket, you can get the light plate (a three-piece fish dinner) for $6.95, a dollar off the regular price.

Thanks for the article on Catfish Parlour Jenel. My family and I tried it out last night. There was quite a bit of a wait, about 40 minutes, but we expected it since they just opened. I was pleased to find out that they are doing things a little different from their Austin location. In Austin, you have to get your own fixins, but at the G'town location they bring them out to you. Overall it was a good dining experience. The fish, fries and beans were really good, the slaw was a little different than what I am used to, but it was still O.K. It's not your typical sorta sweet slaw. The little hush puppies on our table were gone pretty quickly - very tasty little guys, especially when you dip them in the jalapeno tartar sauce.
