| It’s always interesting to me going back 7 days in the MLS hotsheet to see exactly what the market is doing here in Georgetown, TX. A lot can change in a week. Take a look at this week’s numbers compared to last week’s numbers. | |

| Close to the same number of listings were added to the market in each of these weeks, but we saw more than twice as many homes go into pending status last week. Why? I don’t know the answer to that question. Could it be that buyers feel more prepared to make offers at the end of the month? | |
| Thirteen of the new homes on the market this week are in Sun City Texas. These homes are priced from the low 140’s to about $360,000. When Sun City first came to Georgetown, many people thought that only rich people could afford to live there, but there are lots of affordable choices for active adults. It’s not the only age-restricted subdivision in Georgetown. If you prefer a life less structured than what you might find with Sun City restrictions, but you still want to live in a 55+ neighborhood, you have options. Just give me a call, and I’d be happy to help you find the perfect balance. You’ll see quickly why Georgetown was recently named the #1 Best Place to Retire in the United States. | |
