Briarwood, a hidden gem

June 26, 2008 at 10:09 am , by Jenel Looney

Yesterday, I attended a grand opening open house event for REALTORS at a small, little-known new subdivision called Briarwood. Briarwood is tucked away in a quiet corner between Williams Drive and Northwest Boulevard, very convenient to shopping and restaurants. What I love about Briarwood is that the builders there are building high-quality homes with luxury features such as beautiful granite countertops, tile floors, rounded corners, etc…. but they’re doing it at a price point that the average family can afford. The homes that are currently on the market are priced between about $195,000 and $250,000.

There are also many lots available for sale so buyers can have a home built that is truly, uniquely theirs. If all this sounds intriguing to you, please give me a call at 512-876-6544, and I’d be happy to give you a tour of homes currently available in Briarwood.

Hello…can you give me some information or a link to find out about Noe Construction. I drove through Briarwood and liked their homes but need to investigate further. Thank you. Tracy Leon

Tracy, Thanks for writing! I love getting comments on my blog. I’ve already written to you privately, but I wanted to share the information here for others who might be interested.

Noe Construction (pronounced NO-ee) is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Randy and Nancy Noe. They’re trim carpenters by trade, and they’ve done work for lots of high quality area builders, such as Jimmy Jacobs out in Woodland Park, and for Bobby Fredrickson. They’ve been in construction about 25 years as trim carpenters (and they still do trim carpentry work). They struck out on their own as builders a few years ago. As far as I know, they don’t have a website.

The homes in Briarwood really are cute, aren’t they? The white stone exteriors look very upscale, and that look is continued inside the homes with granite counters and great floorplans. The Noe homes are very appealing, and so are the homes built by Bedrock Custom Homes and Destiny Builders. This neighborhood has a lot going for it…and it’s affordable, too!
